Some people think that I live, "far out". That is to say living twenty minutes away from a small town, out in the country, is just too crazy far.
But, have I got news for them.
Being sent on an errand gave me a new frame of mind as to what it means to live far out in the country. It started out like this......
It was strangely sunny with a storm having just finished.
With gray skies and steam rising from the blacktop, it was an eerie scene. I was glad the general area showed up on Google maps......
Then, I discovered this clever mailbox. Why haven't I thought of this?
Barns everywhere.....
with hardly a person in sight.
A few cows here and there, but otherwise very quiet.
